Don’t let the smooth, slick style of Curtis Bayles, aka “Curt Digg” fool you. The heart of his lyrics are urban and gritty, but his melodious California vibe commands you to listen.

Digg was born in Detroit, Michigan where the motor city left an impressionable musical birthmark on him. When he was five years old, Curt Digg moved to California and this cross-country relocation, as well as several other events, changed his life forever.

At an early age, Curt’s dad introduced him to the soulful sounds of Motown and other R&B classics, but his father’s influence would be short-lived. When he was eight years old, Curt’s father passed away and the lack of a male figure left him with many questions. He turned to the streets to get the answers that a father is supposed to answer. It was also on these same streets where he found his love of rap. Curt states, “I grew up around a bunch of rappers” Some of his early rap musical influences include Ice Cube, NWA, E-40, The Dogg Pound and King Tee.

These California legends inspired Digg to take music in his life more serious. He took his occasional freestyle battle to the studio where he honed his craft. When Curt Digg became more serious about his music, he left the streets and focused on his career. He has opened for such artists as Petey Pablo, Juvenile, Young Buck, C-Bo, Sugar-Free, Kurupt and Nipsey Hustle.

Curt Digg has been able to work with industry producing giants Cool and Dre as well as celebrity video director Eif Rivera.

In 2011 Digg started his own record label “Hate Da Game Entertainment” and has several records and has several songs that are future monster hits such as the new 2015 Street Anthem “Real Shit’ featuring G-Unit Kidd Kidd. Also “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop” featuring, Problem & J Whip will be a radio staple.

Currently, you can find his latest single, “Throw That Ass On Me” featuring legendary Snoop Dogg and Excel Beats. He is also preparing to release his second single, August 17th, titled, “Day One” featuring 2 Chainz, Baby Bash, and Marty Obey, produced by mega-producer, Excel Beats, and Tone Bully. Later this fall Curt will release more records with featured artists, Chris Brown, DMX, Chrizz Michaels, and more!
